Why Lewisville picks us

We're not just a DFW landscaper. We're your landscaper.

We work both Lewisvilles.

Old Town and the historic core need different care than the master-planned Castle Hills section. We've worked both for over a decade and approach each accordingly.

Lake-adjacent grading.

Lots near Lake Lewisville have unique drainage and soil conditions — high water table in spots, runoff to think about. We grade with the lake's hydrology in mind.

In-house Loera crews.

Carrollton is a 15-minute drive away. Family business, not a franchise. Omar walks every property and quotes the work himself.

Weekly lawn care and sod across both sides of Lewisville

Lewisville is really two cities for lawn care. The master-planned Castle Hills section and newer builds in Stonebriar Lewisville and Vista Ridge run larger lots with strict HOA expectations, while Old Town Lewisville and the lake-adjacent blocks near Lakeway and Lakepointe carry mature trees and yards that have been settled for decades. We run weekly routes across both sides, covering 75056, 75057, 75067, and 75077: mow at the right height for the season, edge every bed and walk, line-trim the fence lines and tree rings, and blow every surface clean. Bed care, hedging, and seasonal cleanups are part of the plan, not an upsell. We hold a fixed Lewisville route day so your lawn is cut the same day each week, and we handle fresh sod installs in Hidden Valley, Garden Ridge, College Park, and Valley Vista alongside the maintenance route when a yard needs more than mowing can fix.

Blackland clay, lake-adjacent slopes, and why grading comes first

Lewisville sits on the Blackland Prairie, so most yards are Houston Black clay: heavy, expansive, and slow to drain. It swells after rain, then shrinks and cracks through a Texas summer, and that movement tears up any lawn laid on soil nobody graded. Lewisville adds a wrinkle the inland suburbs do not have. Lots near Lake Lewisville sit on varied terrain, some of it sloped, with a higher water table in spots and real runoff to manage. Drop sod on a low corner near the lake and it washes out, or it stays soggy enough to rot. We walk the lot first, find the low spots and slopes, grade for drainage, and amend the soil where it needs it before laying Bermuda, Palisades Zoysia, or St. Augustine. That prep is the difference between a lawn that roots and one you replace in two years.

Castle Hills HOA standards, handled before the crew shows up

Castle Hills (the Lewisville one, not the Carrollton neighborhood that shares the name) carries some of the more documented landscape standards in the area, with specific sod, edging, and color-match rules across its sections. Vista Ridge, Stonebriar Lewisville, and the newer master-planned builds each set their own expectations for turf condition, bed color, and what is allowed in the front yard. Omar walks the property, talks through the scope, and quotes the work so it fits the neighborhood from day one. If your HOA needs a written scope, or you have had a violation notice over something a lawn service should be handling, we sort that out before the first visit rather than after. Old Town Lewisville is looser on rules but heavier on mature trees, so the care there is about protecting roots and shade rather than meeting a color match.

Lewisville watering rules and keeping a lawn green through summer

Lewisville runs a twice-a-week watering schedule most years, on days assigned by your address, and that schedule is what makes or breaks a Lewisville lawn through summer. New sod gets a temporary 30-day variance, and we register the install with the city when it is needed. For established lawns the real lever is mowing height: we raise it in July and August so the grass shades its own roots and holds moisture between your two allowed watering days. Grass choice follows the sun. Bermuda handles the full-sun lots in Castle Hills and the open lakeside builds, Palisades Zoysia suits the partial-shade yards in Vista Ridge and Garden Ridge, and St. Augustine is still the answer under the mature live oaks and pecans shading the older Old Town lots. We pick the grass that fits your specific exposure, not a one-size default.

Lewisville FAQ

Real questions, real answers.

Do you serve all of Lewisville?

Yes — from Old Town and the lake-adjacent sections out to Castle Hills (the Lewisville one — there are a few "Castle Hills" in DFW) and Lakeway. If you're inside Lewisville city limits, we cover you.

Castle Hills HOA — do you handle the approvals?

Yes. Castle Hills (Lewisville) has documented sod, edging, and color-match rules. Omar walks the property and quotes accordingly.

Lakefront homes — anything different about sod near Lake Lewisville?

Sometimes. High water tables in some sections need adjusted grading and drainage. We walk the lot, identify any low spots, and prep accordingly.

What grass works best in Lewisville?

Bermuda is the default for full-sun yards. Palisades Zoysia for partial-shade properties. St. Augustine for shaded older lots in Old Town.

Watering schedule in Lewisville?

Lewisville runs Stage 1 most years — twice a week on assigned days. New sod gets a 30-day variance.

Do I need to be home when the crew comes?

No. Most yards on our route get serviced while the owners are at work. If we need gate access we'll sort it out up front, and the crew closes gates and blows off clippings before moving on.

How do I know what was actually done each visit?

Every visit is the full service: mow, edge, line-trim, and blow-down, not a rotating menu. You'll see it in the mow lines and the clean walks. If you ever want to know what we did or why, text us and you'll get a straight answer.

What happens when rain pushes my service day?

North Texas rain happens. When a storm makes the yard unworkable, your visit slides to the next dry day instead of being skipped for the week. If you're ever unsure whether we're coming, a quick text gets you an answer.
