Why Dallas picks us

We're not just a DFW landscaper. We're your landscaper.

Mature trees, real shade.

Lakewood, Old East Dallas, parts of Preston Hollow: these are tree-canopy neighborhoods where Bermuda doesn't survive. We know which Zoysia and St. Augustine cultivars actually take in deep shade and we won't oversell you on grass that won't make it.

Established HOAs and tight historic districts.

Lakewood Heights, Munger Place, certain blocks of Lake Highlands: there are real preservation rules. Homeowners here want landscapers who already know them, and we work them week in and week out.

We don't disappear after the install.

Family-owned, Carrollton-based, fifteen years. In-house Loera crews — if something doesn't take, our staff comes back to fix it.

Weekly lawn care and sod across Dallas neighborhoods

We run weekly lawn care and fresh sod across Dallas, from Lakewood's pecan canopies and the M Streets out to Lake Highlands, Casa Linda, Preston Hollow, Bluffview, and the new builds in Far North Dallas. Our weekly service is the full routine every visit: mow at the right height for the season, edge every bed and walk, line-trim the fence lines and tree rings, and blow every surface clean. Bed care, hedging, and seasonal cleanups are part of the plan, not an upsell. We hold a fixed Dallas route day so your lawn is cut the same day each week, and we handle fresh sod installs alongside the maintenance route when a yard needs more than mowing can fix. If your zip starts with 752 and you are a single-family home in Lakewood, White Rock, Knox-Henderson, Vickery Place, or the surrounding districts, we likely cover you.

Old Dallas yards: mature shade and grading that has drifted

Dallas sits on the same Blackland Prairie clay as the rest of the metroplex, but the lawn challenge here is age and shade more than new construction. Lakewood, Preston Hollow, Old East Dallas, and Greenway Parks are mature tree-canopy neighborhoods where decades of pecans and live oaks throw deep shade that Bermuda simply cannot survive. The yards themselves have been in the ground for forty, fifty, even eighty years, so the grading has drifted, original irrigation has aged out, and drainage has quietly gotten worse with every storm. We walk every property before quoting, re-grade where water is pooling, and choose a grass that matches the light each section actually gets. Many older Dallas lots need the water re-routed before any sod goes down, so we grade and add drainage where needed, then lay turf once the water runs the right way.

Dallas historic districts and established-neighborhood rules

Parts of Dallas carry real preservation and conservation-district rules, and we work them. Munger Place and Lakewood Heights are historic districts, and certain blocks of Lake Highlands, the M Streets, and Vickery Place have their own established-neighborhood expectations for how a front yard reads from the street. Older lots in these areas come with mature trees, original irrigation, and grading that has shifted over the decades, so a lawn service that ignores all that ends up fighting the property. Omar walks every property before quoting and talks through what will actually hold up in your specific spot. If your block has standards about turf condition or front-yard appearance, we keep the work in line with them so the lawn fits the neighborhood instead of standing out. We stick to lawn care and sod here, and we do not disappear after the install.

Dallas watering rules and the right grass for shade or sun

Dallas runs Stage 1 most years: twice-a-week watering on days assigned by your address, and that schedule is what makes or breaks a lawn through a North Texas summer. New sod gets a 30-day variance, and we set you up to water it hard through that window so the roots take. Grass choice matters more in Dallas than almost anywhere in the metroplex because of the tree canopy. St. Augustine is the answer for the deep shade under the mature pecans and live oaks in Lakewood and parts of Preston Hollow, Palisades Zoysia handles the partial-shade yards, and Bermuda only belongs on genuinely full-sun lots like much of Far North Dallas. We are honest about what will survive in your specific spot, and on established lawns we raise mowing height in July and August so the grass shades its own roots between watering days.

Often yes. Many older Dallas lots have grading issues that get worse with each storm. We grade, install french drains where needed, and re-sod once the water runs the right way.
